Camden Crawl ‘09!
Author: Adelle Walsh | May 8th, 2009One of the UK’s coolest festivals kicked off the much anticipated summer festival season with the Gaymer’s Camden Crawl. Over 150 up and coming acts performed across achingly hip and trendy East London haunts in Camden.
The festival spread across three days saw numerous highlights, with the location of their acts being kept top secret till the last minute! Madness performed on an open top bus across Camden and featured a variety of different venues performing such classics including ‘It Must Be Love’ and ‘One Step Beyond.’ The Yeah Yeah Yeah’s were also a huge hit performing to a packed audience at Roadhouse!
Fashion favourites Lyle & Scott Vintage were one of the sponsors of the event showing their commitment to support up and coming talent in the music industry. Managing Director Derrick Campbell cited “Our involvement with the Crawl seems a natural fit for us as a brand. Vintage has strong and established links with the music industry and we are now keen to support emerging artists.”
